Michaela and I went grocery shopping and we had a good day!

She doesn't wanna drink milk..she wanna sleep only...

My dad tried to give her milk.....she cried even louder..i went up and told them..she just wanna suck on smt...and turned out....I WAS RIGHT! Gave her the pacifier and she fell asleep very soon. ^^

No fussy baby tonight!

I put Michaela to sleep earlier den she's supposed to so she wun be too tired to sleep and fuss like nobody's biz...and she's sleeping literally like a baby! I have prepared the water and the milk powder for any night feeding..i think there would be one around 1am and 7am..

A few rules I set for Michaela.

1) Michaela can fuss all she want but I WON'T respond to her immediately...reason? To let her know that fussing will get her nowhere. I'll just respond to her by saying " cannot fuss".

2)She has to be burped every 5 mins between feedings if not she'll spit up the milk like nobody's business. And I dun care if she cries for her milk when I'm burping...ITS FOR HER OWN GOOD. At the end of the feeding she's always a satisfied baby with no spit ups and finishes everything cos all the air is out and there's space for milk!

3)She has to bathe 2 times a day. One in the afternoon and one before she sleeps to wind her down.

4) Butt must be washed during diaper change to prevent diaper rash. Wet wipes are not enough and too much chemicals. She hasn't gotten any diaper rash till now! ^^

5) We go on evening walk everyday at 5pm or if the sun is still strong 6pm for 1 hour. I'll show her the flowers and leaves and the neighbourhood.

6) She hates tummy time to the max but I put her on my chest and she's ok. So her tummy time is on my tummy. Most of the time she'll fall asleep tho...lol.

Michaela and me showered together..or rather she bathed i showered. We smell exactly the same cos I used her shampoo and body wash...lol..i smell like a baby! So I put her in the 'sarong' and she's starting to fall asleep while i rock her..great! Then i can do my own stuff since its us at home only....

Updates: 

Michaela can now hold her head 45 degrees for about 10 secs on her belly. Guess her neck is growing stronger! Soon she'll be able to support her own neck. She's getting so big...waiting for her 3 month vaccinations....

Happy 2 month old Michaela!!

Michaela is 2 months old now! Not much changes...only the sleeping overnight change...she wakes up around 5am for a morning feed and will go back to sleep till 8 or 9am. Can't wait for her to learn how to sit and start solids...

Michaela's a bit insecure today..i dunno why..I can't leave her alone to do my things cos she'll cry. And its not becos she's hungry or what..she's just insecure..so i gave her the pacifier and let her sleep alone on the sofa.but whenever the pacifier drops out she'll cry and i will have to push it back in again..

She's almost 2 months now! Fussiness has decreased A LOT. But she still fusses a little just before her long sleep at night. Ok...so she's drinking 130ml every 3 hours in the day time. And I try to feed her as much as I can to store up for the night so she wun have to wake up to drink so many times. She wakes up at 9am every morning and sleeps at 12am every night. I wake her up at 9am and wipe her body with a wet towel and change her out of her pyjamas and feed her 130ml of milk. She'll den be awake and will be beside me while I watch some shows online and I'll talk and play with her also. Then She'll be awake till her 2nd feed which is about 1pm. After the feed she'll have her nap. I let her nap between 1-3 hours..depending on how tired she is but I'll not let her nap for more den 3 hours if not she'll fuss at night. So she'll wake up around 4-5pm for her next feed. she'll be awake for a while and go to nap for around 1-2 hours until 7pm. And while I have the free time, I do my cooking for dinner. She'll wake up at 7pm and I will feed her and she'll chill with my mum when she's back from work while i watch tv and do things on my laptop. And around 10pm I bath her in warm water as a bedtime routine and put either baby oil or lotion all over her and put her into her sleeper and swaddle her and give her the last feeding and she'll go to sleep by 12am or 11 and wake up 5-6 hours later for the next feed and the whole thing repeats!

And she's pooping!

Michaela's pooping..lol...and she takes forever to poop...gosh...she squeezes for I dunno how long..and sometimes when i tot she has finished..she poops again WHILE I'M CHANGING HER DIAPERS! =.=

Michaela's favourite is the Playtex vent-air followed by nuk and avent and tommee tippee and tollyjoy.
The playtex one is slow flow and the good thing about it is Michaela can control the milk flow to her own liking, which is SLOW. -=.= personally i like the avent and nuk cos the flow is faster and she takes just 20-30 mins to finish 120ml of milk....for the playtex one she takes 40mins to finish 120ml...

She's on full formula milk s26 now. So far she loves it or rather she's used to it..

One thing I can't understand is why is she hungry again after pooing?? like after drinking 120ml, she poops, and she's totally hungry again...I am sure milk doesn't get digested THAT quickly..hmm.....

How to make baby think you're beside her when u're not..

I cover her with my jacket for her afternoon nap and there's the 'mummy' smell on it. hahaahaha

WOAH.......I AM BACK!!!

okay.......time for updates! I have been very very very bz! Busy with what? MICHAELA! Busy with what with michaela? FEEDING, FUSSING, COAXING..ALL BABY STUFF....she went for her vaccination-hep B 2nd dose. omg..she became SO FUSSY...ARGH!!!..it has been 1 week...for this week her appetite decreased....from 150ml to 60ml...but now its getting back up to 120ml. And she was awake the ENTIRE DAY today! Hopefully she can sleep thru the night...cross my fingers..she's 4.4kg now and 56cm!

Having a little problem here....but its SOLVED BY YOURS TRULY

The problem: In the past, Michaela would fall asleep right after drinking her milk. But for the past 1-2 days she was still wide awake after drinking her usual 120ml...and also her interval became 2 hours between every feed, the last one was only 1.5 hours! And I was wondering WHY WHY WHY?

Reason : 120ml was NOT ENUF. She was still hungry that's why she was wide awake.

Solution: I added 30ml to the feed, she finished all and she fell asleep right after the 30ml...

Conclusion: TIME TO INCREASE HER FEED TO 150ML!!!!!!! Hopefully it can last her 3 hours...

WOHOO!!! Found a way to have a less fussy Michaela!

For the past few days she has been fussing A LOT. And I found out why...I was too slow in preparing milk and she got so pissed she cried and didn't wanna drink. So now, when time is almost up, i make the milk and just shove it in her mouth and she'll just finish everything. And that would be 130ml every 2.5 hours. Next feeding is 715-730. Will prepare by 715.

I am gonna try the Playtex Drop-ins systems milk bottle for Michaela. Cos it says that baby can control the flow of the milk! Cos when she's drinking milk sometimes the milk flow is too slow or too fast...but i was using the same teat...and i dunno why sometimes she can't suck the milk out and sometimes she choke on the same teat...so i have decided to try this..the thing about this drop-in is I can't mix the milk in the bottle..its not really a bottle..its a plastic disposable liner..baby's crying! Feeding time! ciao! will be back!

A tiny update!

Michaela's feeding time has become every 4-5 hours.....she actually had to eat every 1-2 hours in the 1st week...end of 2nd week it became every 3 hours..and now 4 weeks old she's eating every 4-5..looking forward to every 5-6!

I FOUND A WAY TO SHUT MICHAELA UP AFTER CRYING FOR NO REASONS.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHing into her ear! I dunno why it works but IT DOES! I am amazed...she cried for like 1 hour and i tried everything! From changing diapers to trapped wind to checking if she's hungry ALL didn't work...BUT i whispers and shhhhhh into her ear and she shut up on 5 seconds...AMAZING.

I woke up at 2pm...hahaahahaha...got up and wash her bottles,make milk and let the cl feed her while i cook my lunch. Ate and watched underworld. Little boss is fast asleep now. lalalallalalallalalalala...oh I'm having my soya milk again...yummy! Started baby on similac and gonna see how long she takes to finish 1 tin. Gonna try enfalac next. She hasn't fuss at night since similac...weird

oh crap....

she's doing the threat cries.....those sudden loud cry for 1 or 2 times and stop...NOOOO...just dun go to full blown cries....DUN. I WANNA SLEEP!!!!

SO, HOW WAS THE FEEDING?!

It went..well..80% perfect! Why 80%? I fed her, she finished her 125ml and fell asleep. I burped her 3 times in between feeds and she did burp. But she decided to poop at the end of the feed. Typical...and I observed that she will be wide awake after EVERY diaper change, I have no idea why but yea...so while I was changing her diaper, she decided again that she didn't finish pooping and she pooped all over the changing table....=.= and while trying to push her poop out, she vomited quite a bit of milk out, and of course I had to clean up. I made her another 60ml of milk and to my surprise she finished it all and fell half asleep. I burped her once and put her back to the cot..and now she's awake I think..cos i hear her cooing! Let me go check......yea...she's falling in and out of sleep and cooing and making funny noises..trying to sleep I think....So am I! Hopefully she wun fuss, and fall asleep soon! Praying hard.....God help Michaela to fall asleep and grow! AMEN!

SOYA MILK!!!!!

OKAY....i admit..I AM ADDICTED TO SOYA MILK!!!! SO NICE!! Yes...it reduces breastmilk production..but since i'm formula feeding, It is my aim to stop milk production. Baby had 2 weeks of breastmilk already and I am so so so tired....and I'm gonna be on some medications that will not allow me to breastfeed..so yea...

2 hours more to baby's next feed. The last feed of the night b4 she sleeps for a long time! Hopefully she wun fuss...cross my fingers...really really hope she wun fuss....

I just fed her and she's sleeping..next feed is in 3 hours..and that's the feed that she usually fusses for a very very very VERY long time b4 going to bed. So I'll see. I changed her formula from s26 to similac. Let's see whether she'll fuss more. I'll do all the burping and stuff correctly and see whether she still fusses. I am soo soo sleepy today..Have no idea why also..not tired but sleepy...zzzzz..its like the pregnancy fatigue where I just feel like sleeping all the way..oh yea..good news...I AM MOVING HOME!!! AT LAST. Back to the comfort and security of homie sweetie homie. More freedom and I am sure I can take care of Michaela better at home. At least I know where everything is...oh have to start planning for Michaela's full month..hmm...wad should I do?? Red eggs a must...shave hair...ang ku kueh...wad else..cupcakes?? Think we're doing potluck style or buffet..will decide soon!

ARGHHHHHH!!

Fussy baby!!!! My baby's fussy time is always this time of the night...and I can't do anything to soothe  her...argh!!!!!!!!! But she auto fusses till maximum 2am and she goes right to sleep till 6am...always fusses just b4 a LONG NIGHTS SLEEP......HOW ON EARTH DO PEOPLE TAKE CARE OF TWINS?!?!??!!

Went to clementi mall!

Baby and me and grandma(baby's) and god grandma went to clementi mall for some shopping! I got A LOT of new clothes! And baby slept ALL the way..hahahaha from shopping to eating...she was sleeping all the way..

Just fed her...she's a good burper today! I burped her every 20-30ml she drank and she gave me huge burps like adult burps! Hopefully she wun vomit milk today since she's such a sweetheart! Dunked down 120ml in less den 30 mins! MILESTONE RECORDED! By next week i think she'll have to drink 130ml. We shall see..or rather..I, shall see...she's having her hiccups now..as usual..since in utero she has been having her daily hiccups.

Time to wash her bottles, have my 3 hour alone time and wait for next feed!~

Just a little update

Michaela's milk intake has officially went up from 100ml to 120ml or more. Hope she starts gaining more weight! From birth she has gained 500g..hope she gains 200g more by her full month. She had 130ml for her last feed..soon her 125ml avent bottles will be useless...LOL

Michaela's 3 week update!

She's drinking 100ml of milk every 3 hours now. Sometimes she'll ask for more..so i'll give her up to 120ml..and she finishes all..but she tends to drink in installments...she'll push the bottle out halfway and start to fall asleep..and I'll have to burp her and she'll start crying for milk again after a few burps..so i'll continue.

She fusses at night...just b4 she has her long sleep of 4 -5 hours...she'll cry A LOT. I'll have to put her to sleep beside me and den put her back in the cot..but it all takes 10 mins! Lucky me..I have seen and heard babies who cry like nobody's biz..and its scary...

we went for her hearing test and her right ear is still not responding..but its normal for newborns to be like that..may have earwax inside or the left over amniotic fluid and stuff..we have guests later! So i dressed her up a little..and she's sleeping in her play gym now. I have some alone time and I shall go to cook lunch! CIAO

Baby and I went on a short walk to cold storage!

We had a evening walk..but she was asleep the entire time...=.= went to get some groceries! She had 120ml of milk right before she slept...a milestone! Usually she'll vomit out quite a bit of milk if it exceeds 90ml..but this time she drank 120...eh no...150! 150 in 1 hour. And now she's fast asleep. Guess it's her growing week..Drinking a lot at one time..and she's sleeping longer...when we 1st got home she used to wake up every 1-2 hours...den it became 2-3 hours..and now she can go up to 3-4 hours...from 45ml every 1-2 hours in her 1st week to now 120-150ml of milk every 3-4 hours...she is kinda learning night and day...somehow at night she sleeps longer and in the day she wakes up very VERY accurately every 3 hours...at night can go up to 4 hours..training! I am still feeding on demand..oh crap..my boob just leaked..time to pump! Cyall!

Why de hell do people like to press my baby's leg saying its too big and press until she cries in pain and agony and den say sorry and den do it again?????? Don't you get it? SHE DOESN'T LIKE IT. SO STOP IT! And quit telling me that you love to hear baby's cry. Wad rubbish.

I got too used to being pregnant...

I went to NTUC to get some groceries to cook for dinner for my bdae...I docked everytime people got too near to me...I was afraid of them knocking into my tumy..I totally forgot that Michaela was out already...=..= and I totally forgot that My tummy is available for tummy time...i kept lying on my sides..I remembered I can now go back to tummy time! hahahhaa..oh update on Michaela

She's having her growth spurt...she grew so much these 2 days...her bobble head became MORE bobble head and her hands and legs suddenly became very long also...

Woah...I haven't had my tummy time for too long...my neck is starting to ache...arghhh..needa re train my neck muscles...

Fever gone!

Fever gone! Stitches pain 99% gone! My life is coming back! I can take care of Michaela well now! She's now on mixed diet of Breastmilk and formula. Getting her to drink 60ml every 2.5 hours. Sometimes a bit more depending on her appetite. I'm feeding on demand. She's going thru her growth spurt now so hopefully by the next ped's appt she'll grow very well!

I had fever......

I had quite a high fever enuf to make me shiver...38.7 dc...I felt so weak . aand had no strength to carry Michaela..argh..she's been spitting up milk a bit cos the cl didn't burp her properly and I had to do the job...she'll always fuss b4 sleeping but once she's settled down, she's an angel. Anyway, I'll update more tmr...gonna go to bed...

Got the breastpump!

YAY! Got a very very good breast pump! The medela swing! It expresses my milk like nobody's business...Now baby can have A LOT of breastmilk without me being stressed! WOHOO!!!!!

At last..I'm starting to feel normal again!

The pain has lessen A LOT. Still feel bruised but its ok. I can sleep not bad now..just started my massage today! So relaxing! Lost 9-10kg since 10 days ago! Woohoooo

stitches are healing well..but it hasn't dissolved yet...or drop off...dunno which one is it...anyway it feels very bruised..very very bruised. Michaela has been quite an angel...not really fussy..only when she's hungry. But she sleeps right after eating...so not that bad..but I'm too tired from not sleeping well...its hard to find a position to sleep properly and without pain...*yawns*

Tips for soothing a newborn. It works for me!

How to soothe WIND IN THE STOMACH?

A little background:  Baby used to do almost EVERYTHING thru the cord and that includes breathing. So sometimes, the bb's body will get confused and take in a little air thru the belly button since its still 'open'. But we mothers know that that LITTTLE air is enough to make hell the entire night and day from baby's crying. So how do we prevent it or if it already happened how to 'cure'.

1st, you need to diagnose whether it IS really wind or if the baby is just fussy by nature.
How do we do that?
Things you need (recommended)
Peanut oil or Extra virgin Coconut oil.

How to?
Take off baby's shirt and mittens and socks.
Put half a tsp of oil in your palms and rub your hands together until it is very warm. Immediately put in on baby's stomach right on top of the belly button.
IMPORTANT TO BE VERY SENSITIVE!! >>>Feel for stomach sounds (wind inside). If you feel the stomach growling YOUR BABY HAS WIND. And if baby has wind, just repeat the rub the oil warm and put hand on baby's stomach for 1 hour. You will need to 'reheat' your palms every now and then to keep the temperature. Also, Make sure the room is room temperature or warm. NO aircon. NO fan, NO open windows. It will be very stuffy for you, but if you love your baby and want him/her to stop crying, trust me, YOU WILL DO ANYTHING.
Signs you are doing it right: 1)Baby stops crying within the 1st 10-15 mins.
                                          2) Even with shirt off, baby's hands and feet are WARM and NOT COLD.
                                          3) Baby will sleep very soundly. For me, baby will start talking in her sleep. LOL.
        

Day 7 of Michaela!

Her cord dried off and dropped! But she's being fussy...after I swaddled her she was ok sleeping in the cot till the cl came up and she started crying NON STOP. And cl carried her downstairs...my stitches feel very bruised...arghh....but at least I feel comfort when I'm lying on my side.. omg..my boobs were leaking sooo bad when she was crying...meaning I AM BREAST FEEDING CORRECTLY!

I am left with the pain of stitches at my ass. OMG. MY ASS. I have a muscle episiotomy...doc CUT my ass muscles...I was actually walking NORMALLY ALREADY until i had to poop. The place stretched and now its sore like nobody's biz..and when i lie down...my boobs started to leak. Time to pump! See if I can pump 100 in 1 hour. Milk just started to come in. If i can pump till 100...i wun have to breastfeed..

The pain of the stitches changed again. From the very very sore one to the very very tight and stinging to now...the bruise effect. It is a little swollen still..but not infected...I have been taking really good care of my stitches. *yawns* Feel so sleepy....

So I've started my total breast feeding. No more formula milk for her! I think my stitches are really healing...its stinging A LOT. Not that painful but stings cos the stitches are closing.

Just had the worst pain ever....cl cleared my milk ducts...from dripping to spraying...pain like hell......up pain down pain...cry and shout like crazy...

Good morning world!

For me at least....gonna bring little boss out to see the ped. ANYWAY, I SURVIVED THE NIGHT WITHOUT PAINKILLERS! awesomeness! But I would definitely need it today...gonna insert and wait for it to take effect. I'm still so so sleepy....and having a migraine....and my boobies are engorged and painful...and leaking...gonna pump!

What a mixture of feelings. 1st of course, the pain from the stitches. I really think its healing cos i dun feel hurt inside anymore....just the outside. Have been drinking a lot of vit c and e to help repair and lots of protein too...cell repair!! I am preventing myself from taking the painkillers cos i know i would need them the most tmr when i go out.

I went for my warm shower as usual....cos i had to pee...I came out and put the procanol and the local anaesthesia gel...which helped for a while only...after which i started to pump breast milk...my boobs are getting sore like b4 period and getting pregnant. I was watching movie and i didn't realise that it leaked out from the pump...cos i had no idea i was gonna have milk today! Gonna continue pumping....u may ask me y i do not feed my baby directly, Its becos I will have to sit, and my stitches hurt ttm....gonna do dbm....direct breast feeding once my stitches dun hurt...10 days tops...its 4th day already.....6 more days to go!

I think the painkillers totally wore off already....5 hours gone since I had them....I am only left with the 1 more...Have to take them wisely...if not i'll die of pain...I decided to take it tmr b4 bringing Michaela to the doc...gonna get Panadol and witch hazel for my wound since there wun be anymore suppositories anymore. I really love the suppositories......T.T

Baby is active at night..AS USUAL!!! Sleeping and waking up..BUT she doesn't cry or wake me up. She just self entertain....hahahah looking around....right left....making her funny noises...talk to herself...urgh...my stitches still burn and sting...gonna air my wound until it doesn't sting and gonna take a warm shower b4 going to bed...

The pain from the stitches today is a different kinda pain. Its like you tearing up your anus after having very very bad constipation. I felt my wound. Its swollen but healing well, that's why the hurt is changing. It will be a lot better tmr.

So I had SO MUCH colostrum..when i was pumping it actually drip..good! Time to go to bed....tired...waking up at 7ish to pump again and take my antibiotics and start my day of i dunno wad...will call in the afternoon to see if Michaela can be discharged. Night peeps!

So I woke up...but it was from a deep sleep!

YAY! Deep sleep FTW!!! I slept around 11? Is it? Anyway I woke up briefly at 1 plus to change my position which was not that bad...and i woke up at 3 plus...I could feel the soreness of the wound already and it became hard for me to change position. So i decided to wake up and take a warm shower to wash my wound and spray the topical spray that would heal the wound naturally using this plant...the wound felt different..its no longer that sore as compared to a few days ago...the past few days the pain was still there even if I didn't move.But this time, the pain was more like the cut of your finger when are cooking..and it only hurts if you move and when u stop u can only feel just a little soreness and not pain. But I decided to go ahead with the painkiller...I am waiting for it to take effect b4 i go to pump my boobies to stimulate the breastmilk. I did the pumping just now b4 i slept while watching movie and the quantity of colostrum was quite a lot. Hopefully it will slowly become breastmilk and by the time when Michaela gets home she can have a little breastmilk to drink. The pain and soreness is starting to go off a little. I'm supposed to like lie down after putting the suppositories so that they wun fall out of my rectum. I shall wait till it takes full effect...would be around an hour...so at the meantime I'm browsing youtube on breastfeeding.

I realised....

I can't pee sitting down...everytime I have to pee, i have to take a shower...and I keep farting...=.= ALL the ginger is making me rid of gas. I think its time for me to rest b4 the pain comes back...hopefully I can sleep THROUGH the night and not wake up.

Pray that Michaela can come home tmr.....

Although I know she's in good hands..but I MISS MY LITTLE BOSS!! It has only been like less den 12 hours since i last saw her...BUT I MISS HER ALREADY and I WOKE UP IN TEAR COS I HEARD HER CRIES IN MY SLEEP. T.T. Just put the suppository in my ass. And its working..VERY WELL...my movements are much more larger! Its gonna help me sleep later..since it lasts up to 5 hours...the moment it wears off I'm gonna stuff it in. Waiting for my food to be ready. Fried rice with egg and ginger!

Back at home. Confinement time!

No fan, No wind, No plain water bath...ALL herbal...MY FAVE ^^ Just stimualted my boobies using the new breastpump. Going to go to bed and when i wake up, gonna pump again. Needa let my boobies know that a baby has to drink milk when she gets back. Hopefully soon. Will call up tmr to ask. I just pray for my wound to heal ASAP. It IS healing..cos its getting a bit swollen and a little itchy. Will continue to take care of my wound. Sleeping does heal wounds I think. So off to bed I go!

Aww...my little boss has jaundice...

Little Miss Michaela has JUST enough jaundice to be put for the all so good 'light spa' haha. Anything that is good for her...just 1-2 days...not that bad..dunno whether I should stay with her or not...hmm....Getting her sun bath now...hopefully it will go down. Just had her s26 formula...have to wash her system asap....still fussy after eating..let me try to burp her more...

After giving birth, you dun care who sees what and who touches what. Yes, I mean your body. AH CRAP, i sneezed. PAINFUL LIKE HELL. I am just so scared that my stitches will TEAR. OMG. I'm being VERY VERY careful with everything I do and every movement. ANYWAY, back to the topic..which is...ehh.....oh yea...your body...The nurse can just come in and touch you boob just lidat and you wun feel shy. Trust me, 2 days ago if my mum were to request to see my boob I'll yell at her for being a pervert..but now, oh u wanna see...see. "the greatness of mummys" Michaela just went of for her blood test..I wonder what blood group will she be...hmm...i'm a b+ tho....ok i sidetracked. I am like sitting down with my boobs out and i dun care who sees what. They can just come in a ask me to spread my legs and check my down there and i also dun give a crap. but of course becos I know that they are professionals...they are doing it for ME.

I keep sneezing today..WHO IS MISSING ME?! STOP MISSING ME. IT HURTS! OW. Cough and sneezing is the worst thing you can ever do if you have stitches ANYWHERE. Imagine c section pain is worse den what i have now...OMG...OMG...OMG...

I had vegetarian bee hoon for breakfast. Taste great! I think Mount E has one of the best hospital food I have eaten...or heard..Not that i have been in and out of hospital a lot...but..yea....the food is tasteful! Not tasteless...its full of flavour..esp the beef thingy that i had yesterday..i finished all my rice and wanted 2nd bowl..but i controlled myself..NEEDA GET BACK IN SHAPE!!!! And I woke up in the middle of the night from hunger....feeding breastmilk does that. Gonna go for the breastfeeding class later with Little Miss Michaela.

OH OH OH, I went to the nursery...IT WAS FULL OF BABIES!!! (stupid comment i know) And its very warm...very very warm..and my girl was the sweetest thing among..like...40 babies? I managed to recognize her. hahhahha from the hat that i put beside her..LOL....they all look almost the same..i can only recognize colour..I went to her and she was half asleep and she poo and pee..the nurse changed her in like less den 30 sec..yea..they have been doing it for dunno how long..talking about her poo..it smells the same as my pee...i wonder why also..I am starting to feel sleepy...class is at 930...waiting for the nurse to push baby back to me so I can go to the class...15 more min! I'm gonna walk around braless..I DIDN'T GET A NURSING BRA! Needa get one ASAP. Marks and spencer should have my size...see whether I can go get later b4 going home or not...needa call for the nurse..oh the makan person is here, i asked her to inform the nurse and she did in 5 sec..GOOD SERVICE!!! I love makan person. time to get dressed and slowly make my way down to the classroom. Mummy lessons!!!!!!!! Will update on the class!

Morning world!!!

I managed to sleep thru the night!! I think i got bitten by some kinda insect..got some kinda itchy dot on my neck area..anyway, Bbay had fomula yesterday night becos I was wayyy to tired to produce any milk. I WENT OUT OF COLOSTRUM. So they wheeled her back. Somehow I felt useless..but its normal for the 1st few days to be lidat...gonna go take a bath and start my day! Gonna be discharged lo!

My labour and delivery story!

I had contractions starting at 6pm in the evening...but it was totally painless...just very very strong tightening of the uterus. But I have been feeling crampy the entire week..so i tot it was another false labour. I went on to order KFC to eat some more..hahahaahaha. The contraction didn't go off. I walked around but still it was still coming..i started to time my contractions. It was every 40 mins at 1st. And it became 20 mins den 10 mins den every 5 mins. So i waited a while. It became more intense. That was around 11pm plus. Den I decided to go to the hospital. I brought my hospital bag and the maid followed me there. I was hooked on the CTG. Contractions was not really strong as according to the machine. After a few hours in the morning, they broke my water bag. The contractions became so strong. I tried the gas, it made me feel drunk. but it didn't really take the edge off. Then i try the thigh jab..TOTALLY USELESS...so they talked me into doing the epidural. I took it. I managed to sleep for A WHILE..like 20 mins. Doctor came to check me I dilated to a 3cm already. And he went to get a haircut (it was his day off). And he came in around 3. I was already 7cm dilated. But with every contraction i became 8-9cm dilated.

Baby's heart rate started to drop because of the cord around the neck. So he decided to let me push. It all happened SOOOOO fast... the nurses put my leg on the I dunno what is it called. But its to hold my legs cos my legs were totally numb. Doctor asked me to push..i was like HUH?! TIME TO GIVE BIRTH AH?! lolz...so I began to push...for 5 mins and she popped out already. Doctor 'threw' her right on top of me. I was AMAZED by how big she was. 3kg!! And she was totally blue and purple. After that doctor stitched me up. I didn't feel anything cos of the epidural. 

BUT after that, after the epidural wore off..I ALMOST DIED OF PAIN. Until NOW. I took the STRONGEST painkiller just now. It helped A LOT. It was the anal one...but it helped...but now the pain seems to be coming back..Gonna ask for the next dose of painkiller. I want it to heal ASAP. So I can go back to my normal movements..i feel so paralysed...ARGHHHHH!!!! Oh crap...baby crying!!! I WILL BE BACK!

Found a online contraction timer

My contraction from every 40 mins became close to 10 mins apart...now i'm waiting for the next one to time it. I walked around and changed position and drank water to see if the contraction will go away...if it doesn't...means..its possible that it is THE day TODAY!

Had a few regular contractions..but somehow they are gone...

I had contractions that were every 20 mins den became every 10 mins...but after i had my kfc..it is now gone! Or i think its gone? Baby's having her daily hiccups now...right after eating. hahahahaha.. let me see if the contractions come back...

feeling crampy all of a sudden....

Why do I feel so crampy suddenly...urgh....baby's somehow awake inside i think....moving here and there affected by the cramps also..there is comes again.....let me try to go walk it off a bit...

Going to clementi to decorate me and baby's new room! WOOHOO!!! Gonna look see and make sure everything is up to standard and to my satisfaction. Weather very hot...goodness....just 5 mins w/o aircon i tot i was going to die of heat stroke...

Mor da nings!

Going to NEX for a light shopping! Walk walk here walk walk there hopefully with bring on some contractions! Oh i ate thunder tea rice for breakfast..and while i was eating, i sneeze. And when i blew my nose there were bits and pieces of vege and cai po and rice flying out into the tissue..LOL. So gross...and best, i didn't feel anything..i think my nose is too used to being stuffed already.

Gonna buy breast pump later! Need to pump milk when baby is out in case she refuses to latch on or dunno how to latch one...the advantages of being the last one to give birth among peeps is u learn from experience..know all kinds of pattern the baby does during breast feeding..hahaha..absorb and learn and also learn from mistakes. Need to get the baby's anti wind oil also...Next check up tuesday morning. Hopefully baby did grow a little..and not none at all. And hopefully my weight drop! ^^ so sick and tired of being big and bulky..i miss jumping over fences and barricades...miss running miss walking fast and miss SLEEPING FOR 8 HOURS STRAIGHT WITHOUT WAKING UP!

Michaela's having her hiccups as usual....ARGH!!!! Her hiccups are getting stronger and stronger...just when i wanna go to sleep....

Its kinda normal for me..its how my body tells me i'm dehydrated...shall spam water tmr! Water water water!!!!!! *yawns* tired lo.....
